We are very proud of the dedication of our acolytes. For the first time, in a
long time, we have a full compliment of acolytes, which are working as “teams”.
Carrie is thankful for the commitment of
Karen Esposito and Loretta Edmonson, as well as, the Nursery volunteers.
All are welcome to participate with us any Sunday.
We greatly appreciate the loyalty of our parish families to have their precious
young ones join us whenever possible. They are an awesome group of people.
Sincerely,
Roland & Carrie Cohee
Outreach—
The ongoing growth of our Church has led the Vestry to fund Outreach in our
budget. This will allow a greater effort on our part to help where help is
needed. The Outreach Committee of Sharon Bailey, Peggy Gallego, Hilde
Parkhurst Dottie Vuono and Don Blair welcomes anyone interested in
participating on this committee. They will meet at least quarterly or as
needed to determine the needs we should respond to. We welcome being
informed of any special needs in the community for consideration. The
“Matthew Project” will now be a basic part of this fund and as such will not
require a special appeal during Lent. We hope this approach will still
result in your consideration of the unexpected when the need arises.
Thank you.
Don Blair, Chair
Prayer Shawl Committee
The Prayer Shawl Committee meets the first Wednesday of the
Month at 11:00 a.m. at Phyllis Robinson’s home. Please call
422-8470 for directions or any change in meeting times.
Thank you for your dedication.
Lay Eucharistic Visitor
If you are hospitalized, and do not let anyone know,
do not expect a visit. In order for either the priest, or a Lay Eucharistic
Visitor to visit you in the hospital, we have to know you are in the
hospital!” We are good, but our notification of people in the hospital by
the Holy Spirit is very limited at this time. It may get better in the
future, but as of now, neither I, nor any Lay Eucharistic Visitor has been
notified by the Holy Spirit of any one being in the hospital.”
