The mission of this group is “spreading Christ’s Kingdom through prayer, scripture, and service.” The Brotherhood meets for a monthly Bible study and leads a Bible study at the Delaware Veterans Home twice monthly. It also leads weekly Bible-focused programs during the Advent and Lent seasons aimed at the spiritual enrichment of the parish.
We have developed a supportive relationship with both Sussex and Kent County Habitat organizations helping them with willing hands when needed.
This committee oversees designated outreach funds, and distributes them according to the needs of the community. We have helped Milford Community Pantry (the local food bank), the Circle of Light, the Milford Ministerium, the Matthew Project, and other needs of our community. We welcome donations and ideas for money-giving projects. All are welcomed to participate.
This national project, sponsored by the Sunday school, sends shoe boxes filled with gifts for Christmas to children in third world countries.
This yearly offering is sent to the Diocesan Episcopal Church Women organization which sends all donations to the National ECW. The monies fund a wide variety of missions and ministries throughout the world.
